Nigel Mansell in a mid-'80s Williams. Any more detail and I'd have to resort to looking things up.

Only saw him race in a BTCC round at Brands as a guest racer (v Tiff - no love lost there but plenty of paint was).

I take it this is from the latest F1 game? Any good?

Amazing how much the F1 cars have changed and yet stayed the same since the 1980s, the body shape is fairly similar, but the wings and spoiler have changed...and of course, so much else in F1 has changed, not necessarily for the better. Miss those days of Mansell, Brundle, Prost, and Senna.

Yep it's from the new F1 2013. Yes it's good. Tire ware is more noticeable, cars handle well, and my favorite is if you have F1 2012 you can skip the lower teams in your career and jump into mid teams.

Why is what appears to be a Japanese H6K or H8K about to attack a German U-boat?

Maybe it is supposed to be a Sunderland any way sure as heck looks like the Japanese hinomaru on that plane.

In one pic we see a IX class U-boat then in another pic it looks like a Salmon class boat.Is this all the same battle and why does the Salmon class have a WWI German flag?

That's a Sunderland with Jap markings...and there are no Type IX boats in these pictures. The one shown is a VIIC. When I played as the Corvette, I was hunting a Type IX... and ASW is very tough stuff in this game.

Confusing yet?

The fun part about it is that you can control the game completely with your voice.

"Ahead one-third, hard to starboard" will be understood by the game. It's really fun. Plus, it was released for free.

Haha anyway dont think that I'll confuse my boats or aircraft.You ever see those WWII playing cards with the aircraft? My friend had a set of those I told His wife that I could ID every single one of them correctly.She said that I could not and bet me dinner I got all but one right away correctly and one some obscure Italian flying boat I knew that maker but not the exact name of the aircraft since I got 99.5% of the right my friends wife made me dinner.

I shoulda labeled them...

But the 7 seems to be normal sized in the game. The shot with the IX in the description is the Tac Map for the Corvette. That was right after a DC run I made...except ASW is impossible in this game.

Just poking some fun.I am sure it is a fun game never had much interest not a big fan of alternate history.

The merchants usually have 4" guns...so ramming doesn't work too well.
