Transparent Bodies and Hollow Eyes
Hello, the bodies of my crew became transparent in bad weather. I can see the horizon or the conning tower walls through their heads. Also they have hollow eyes.
The only mod I am using is FotRSU 0.63but I'm not sure if the effects are caused by the mod. |

Uncheck "Voluminous Fog" under your graphics settings - then everything should be fine again.

Thank you, unfortunately it didn't do much. The transparency improved marginally. I can still see the antenna mast through the desk watch's skin. The eye sockets are still empty.

Have you Saved, Exited the game, and then come back into the game and loaded the save, YellowFin? Also, was that Save folder emptied when you activated FotRSU? How much RAM does your computer have and do you have LAA activated? Which video card are you using?

As propbeanie said, computer specs would be nice to have in order to error-check. However, I used to run SH4 on an old Dell with 500mb RAM, so I doubt that's an issue.
My first step would be to disable the mod and see if your problem is still there. Next step would be lowering graphics settings (if that makes a difference) and, finally, uninstalling and reinstalling SH4 vanilla. Make sure to back up your files first before you do that, though. |
