Yes of course I know what you mean. As I said above, unless that guy on Steam is a complete moron, the Steam version cannot be 1.2.0. Which version it is, I don't know, Steam doesnt' tell it, the forum posts don't tell it clearly. I guess it's 1.1.
But now maybe you should understand me: It doesn't matter what version is on Steam. What is contained in the Sh5.exe of Steam and some other whatnot files is: There is some ****ty DRM code in it that any patcher program cannot read - and should not read. Or do you think Steam is that stupdid to fail so miserably? They can protect their games... Maybe you understand now why you cannot update outside of Steam? I hope you soon get some answers here, but be prepared to only read about pissed-up Steam owners of the game, they don't enjoy anything about SH5 (yet), don't forget that Last edited by XenonSurf; 02-06-18 at 11:21 PM. |
