Default Crewmen remain on deck when submerged

Could someone remind me why this happens and how to correct it?

Type IX UBoat. Normal submerge to Periscope depth. No TC. Crewmen remain on deck. It looks ridiculous.

There's already how many threads on this, and you felt the need to open yet another one?

Yes, I did...you have a problem with that, bud?

If this thread 'bothers' you so much, why waste your precious time (and ours) by posting here...You must have much more improtant things to do. After all, you could tell precisely what the thread was about by its Subject/title and you therefore never were forced to open the thread. You could have gone on your merry way looking for threads of great importance to you, or were you just cruising for trouble? Now, goodbye....until such time as you open a thread which even hints of having been a subject of previous discussion elsewhere...we'll be watching for you to make such a HUGE mistake in Forum decorum. Good Luck. :p

P.S. On the day I started this thread (13 Oct), there were exactly TWO other posts...total! Only ONE post on the subsequent day. This is hardly a thriving, intense, active forum...in which one thread such as mine could be considered disruptive "to the flow' so to speak. Sheesh!
