I'd just like to say thanks to everyone here at subsim. You're probably the kindest, most welcoming community in the entire world. If it weren't for you, I probably wouldn't have bought an excellent book called The Wolf, which someone here recommended to everyone. Thank you.

If I weren't for Subsim, I wouldn't have bought a ton of things. Instead, I would've lost interest in subs and never played SH2 again.

But no. Subsim held on to me and now I have sub games, books and movies.

Yea. The fact that a 13 year old from Australia and a 62 year old from Canada can say the same thing and feel the same welcome says a lot about the broad appeal and friendly atmosphere here.
