^^ Yep, good job Buddahaid. Well done to move on due to the time gap
The predecessor had been the one-engined Ju F 49. When Prof. Junkers was sacked and put out of control of his own company by the Nazis, they immediately began trying to build a high altitude bomber being able to fly at at least 15500 meters altitude for observation and bombing. Without Junkers they unfortunately had no successor that would have been able to construct it.. The nose should have been made of plastic for better visibility, but it was not possible yet to build such a big structure for the first prototype, so they used the kind of pressurized 'tank' for the crew they already used in the F 49 with small bulleyes. Flying and landing was difficult due to the bad visibility. cockpit 'view' The second prototype then did have a two-hulled plexiglas structure, which was heated with hot air in the space between by the engines, to prevent icing and keep it transparent at very high altitude. under construction: Both prototypes crashed, photo from the first wreck:

I just found it on Wikipedia, it looks so much like the Fokker Dr.1.

A coat of arms, pillar and three double rostra of galleys.. first i thought it had something to do with the forum romanum. It was ususal to saw off the naval rams of enemy ships and show it publicly..
But this is the coat of arms of Franz Ritter v. Hipper, also the one of WW II heavy cruiser »Admiral Hipper« (the one that survived the brave »Glowworm«, and whose Captain Hellmuth Heye reported the fate of the Glowworm and Commander Gerard Roope via the red cross to the british admiralty). Was not aware that it had been the Hipper If i am right i would like someone else to continue, i have no time until in two days ahead
