Interested in a starter rookie mod package but most mega packages ive seen are not for steam... any out there can point me in the direction of an easy guide in installing for steam and a list of available mods.. would prefer mega packages..

Cheers

So i guess watch this space and I'll hopefully become a keen member of this forum

Default proper installation of TWOS

Gents:

I thought I had it installed correctly but after trying to generic patcher I could not get game to load.

I think there is a problem with the subfile locations. In SH5 I have data, support and The Wolves of Steel folders and the rest of the SH5 files. there is no "Mod" subfile at the level. Within TWOF there is date, Mods, TDW generic patcher and TWOS doc files and other non files.

I followed the directions but I do have questions... Should not the TWOS files went directly into a Mod subfile within the main file SH5? I am going to delete and try again:<)

I will try to extract the 04 TWOS patch to a folder and copy directly to the
SH5 main folder. I will first make the changes to the conf file per directions.

Any thoughts would be helpful and appreciated.

Default following "clear instructions":<)

I again reinstalled, patched and followed instructions to the letter.. keeping accurate notes on what I did so as to allow me to better determine where I may have made a mistake.... I did not:<)

It all works as advertised. The Wolves of Steel is a work of art... now to learn ... or relearn how to play this sim to its fullest potential.

thank you again...

Going now to workout again and watch Lou Dobbs ....... I should return soon and I will make a donation to the site....
