Does the actual picture represent it in or before the 1950's. Are you saying this wasn't used after the 1950's.

The picture represents the prototype, but variants on it were used until the 1950s across the world. After the 1950s it wasn't used, no, well not that I'm aware of anyway, it's entirely possible that some old examples are knocking around in some out of the way nations, but not particularly likely.
