Thanks for the pic Propbeanie That be the nail on the head the 3000 yd bearing tool sorry I didn't get back sooner. If it's not too much trouble I would like to leave the one on the attack map alone. It's funny just a few posts earlier someone was asking to put it in. ya just can't please everyone.

I'm not sure about the relationship of the bearing tool between the NavMap and Attack views, if any. We'll have to wait on more-knowledgeable folks to come along. I use the bearing tool on the NavMap to follow the sonar lines as they track, so I know when my intended target is getting close to my 'trip-wire' to shoot (ala RR's O'Kane methodology tut). I switch to the Attack Map to check that the 'solution' seems reasonable. I am not a math person, so I do 'visual aids'. If I don't do a 90 when shooting manual, I will miss most of the time... - which is why you'll see me using auto-targeting for most FotRSU tests...

The Navigation Map Bearing Tool can not be removed from the Attack Map....their both joined together as one.

Hey thanks guys for the fast response. Yes I do manual targeting. Never thought about using the bearing tool for range. Sometimes I just do things by rote. Basically I just pull the range on the TDC as in the Dick O'kane video. Now I have a new tool to learn to utilize. muchas gracias

Bigger Better Protractors works wonderfully with tired, "more experienced" eyes... Don't try to use NbJackso's NMMO linked there though, unless you're really good at merging mods and know the consequences... BBP does not interfere with FotRSU at all...

As they say in the software world... "Soon"... I know, I know, rather ambiguous, but... my tootsies are crossed that it's just a couple of days max, ~IF~ no one on the team has run into other issues with the temporary build...

Waiting to try this mega mod… sound really nice and interesting!
I will download next version (0.72?) and see the changes versus TMO. Hoping for a fog weather less longer (in days) than in TMO; fog in pacific doesn’t last so long… further more with wind! Can’t wait to try out

Hmmmm not what I intended You weren't suppose to need a magnifying glass for the pics. One had the date July 19 1942 and mission objective on it
