It's been 1½ years since I played Victoria 2 previously.

Trying to wrap my head around this game again.

I unpaused the game and this pops up.

A few days ago I found a guide on Steam about how to take very cool screenshots in Assassin's Creed Black Flag. Here's some of the better ones I've taken so far, only the first one has been edited.

I never had any positive words for Rome II - but it seems they (CA) really turned this one around and made it good at last.
No, actually they made it great.

Far into my first campaign (Julia), I struggle a little with a common mistake dictat... uh "Emperors" do a lot: Too many fronts.
The consequence is not enough troops where you need em...So these pesky Seleucid for some reason think that North Africa belongs to them, constantly attacking my provinces - pah.
Legio VI Africana was holding out alone for multiple fierce battles until the last 91 men (ninety one, yes) stood against... some 700.

Because Marius Gaius fought relentlessly for me, his glorious emperor who let him hold out alone forever... I decided to play the battle, even though of course it is pointless to send some tired, bled out Legionaries and Praetorians against over 700 rabid Seleucid.

So let's go...

Ah, same map as before, cool since my army had no chance to move away after the first victory that was against all odds already. Same tactic: Rush up and let the enemy attack uphill...

Or so I thought... unfortunately the Seleucid rushed a little...faster...

"That's it then..." I thought, but then I noticed how my soldiers simply refuse to die and start slaughtering the Seleucid where they stand.
Is this... happening?

After cutting the enemy down on the foot of the hill, I try to get on top to engage his skirmishers. Testudo formation should help...

Aaaand reinforcements are crushing into my left flank, didn't notice them at first...

This is it then...
While I killed these troops as well, however that worked out, a Phalanx was closing in... ouch...

le sigh...

Farewell Marius Gaius, Hero of Rome!

Rome II finally rocks!

Ooh, if we're hunting Tigers, then we must be using big tanks. Can't wait to fire that Pershing's gun

Oh... we're using Shermans. Well, at least the Germans will be happy...

Several minutes later...

The biggest threat wasn't the Tiger... it was the trees

Reporting this in will be awkward...

How is IF 1944 now? I was very disappointed in it at launch. Is there an active multiplayer community?

Multiplayer's actually been shut down, which is dissapointing, but if you have ArmA III and IF, you can port IF to ArmA III, which presumably still has active multiplayer,
