Holy moly! Thats a sweet setup right there!
Could you explain how the periscope works? Also, would love to see a "video tour" at some point! |

Now this is what I call "hardcore" !
Just watch for CO2 build up, we don't want something "unpredicted" to happen now, do we...

You are right about that! It does get warm and stuffy inside quickly when submerged and the vent and circulation fan are shut off, which will be the procedure when Silent Running. I imagine the first depth charge attack will be an experience and evading enemy forces and returning to the surface a relief and rewarding!

JEEZE!! I will stop playing long enough for food! Must be a common 'arrangement' for many a lonely deprived SWMBO. That's exactly how it is aboard U-666 too. Or "start the BBQ NOW!" At least the Coroplast cabinetry is confined and she can't get in a good swinging bat as per Neal's cartoon! How is the periscope built?

- The periscope gives you a direct view of the PC monitor limited to the field of view of the SH4 periscope.
- Periscope is held in place by a 3 inch magnet mounted to the top. It slides and rotates on two ½ inch steel rails. - There is a rotating bearing ring for marking bearings. - It stores to either side when not being used. Magnet Steel rail & Bearing ring Stored position |

Holy mother of god that is the most brilliant invention since the television set. I must have one of these in my home to complete my silent hunter simulator experience to the next level. I can already see myself setting up an ambush on a convoy in that thing. All I would need is an authentic Kauleun hat
