Unlike his dad he stayed out of politics. Talented musician. His daughter did well too, Playboy, put out a few records, entered politics - champions Children's Rights, and hasn't invaded anybody.

That is a very interesting mix they made there. Nice tune. Reverb on the bongo / congas / percussion, then a very dry drum, bass and electric piano, very "up front" even, reverb on other things... cool cat beatnik was he?... Probably took after his mom...

Original version -- Kai Winding almost exclusively did instrumental recordings; this rare recording has a "family affair" of backing singers: Cissy Houston (mother of Whitney) and her nieces, Dionne and Dee Dee Warwick...

A version by an immortal singer who has influenced a great many of her contemporaries and those following later...

Probably the best known version and not a bad one, at that...

This is indeed bittersweet; Glen Campbell, now in the final stages of Alzheimer's, has released what will be his final studio album, Adios. A single from the album has been issued today, a duet with Willie Nelson:
