The "Creaks Fix mod" is the four "Creak..." wave files edited, and the "Crash_Dive..." wave file edited, which "fixes" the possible occurrence of encountering "The Sound". I am not finished editing the "Crash_Dive..." audio yet. Also in that "fix" is CapnScurvy's "Periscope_UpDown..." file. I've been mostly researching the "specs" of all the stock files, ogg and wave, in an attempt to "comply" with the devs original file lengths & sample rates, in an attempt to minimize audio issues.

You are one of the folks I had plans to ask if we could include your sounds. I do not have my list with me while traveling, but it probably matches what you listed there. Is it OK if we do include your audio, as you listed above? Some of them might end up edited for length, though. As Rockin Robbins has mentioned, full acknowledgement of your contribution would be noted. I'm also currently going back through this thread for other suggestions, and I do remember you having other file suggestions...

Is it possibly in the Tambor198 folder?... - I wouldn't be surprised if it is - with a CAP attack, combined with shore batteries and search lights

@ max peck: nice screenies, sir!

I apologize. I thought that Bleiente was already in. Bleiente, if you'll PM me your e-mail address, I'll get you access to our super-secret hidden directory workspace! Your help has already been very valuable from the beginning of the project and we'd be honored if you'd take FOTRS Ultimate (such as it is right now) for a spin.

Sorry, to say the Namkwan mission is not my work. I generally stay away from any hysterical missions. All my missions are fiction, the only thing I use is places and dates once in awhile.

Just use the sounds from the "Pack" to your taste, which you need to fix some bugs ... it's you exempted entirely.
I just wanted to point out the sounds, which apparently are flawed and / or too low.

As I said - I'm curious about your adaptation.

Edit:
For brief explanation - all think FORTS V1.3 or 2.0 has a team put together ...
MadMax had these packages entirely alone created - it was a one-man show.

OK, I've checked my hard drive and no Namkwan mission. I even took some time to peruse the Single Mission Sub-forum and couldn't find it. I'm still pretty sure that there was one made, just don't remember who or what the mission was called.

All hands man your battlestations
800 Razz Dazz FOTRSU v0.2 is now available in the WIP section

Same as last time, except now I have skinned 6 of the 19 freighters

Same deal as before - you see a ship that is all black with no texture please let me know the ship name and date

That is all

I am willing to bet money that this is what your problem is

If you are running it, try uninstalling it and checking the tab
I wouldn't use the TMOKeys. Some of what Ducimus did I also did (there's only so much you can do before it gets repetitious). My opinion, my set up is better....(no big surprise!!) You've got a KEYBOARD LAYOUT.jpg and a Reference Card.jpg plus the Help key (F1) that all relate to my keyboard setup.

As for me, the Weapons and Sensors tabs work as expected.

One thing I've found while looking through the different subs, the 1500 yd Bearing Tool on the Navigation Map is not changed for the Gar sub (the Bearing Tool is the round compass surrounding the sub). The original doesn't measure accurately in range, where mine does for the default 1024x resolution......except for the Gar. My bad, I'll have it fixed in the later changes I'm working on.

This brings me to ask, What resolution does everyone use when playing your game?? I just finished the 1500 yd 1920x resolution Bearing Tool. Would it be better to use this Bearing Tool for the subs, or just have the default 1024x Bearing Tool in FOTRS, with the others as a separate group of mods?

==================

As far as the Sounds in FOTRS I've been working on them from the aspect of what I've heard in the Museum. Getting the planes to have a lower volume, raising up many of the ships......Changing some to what I think are better. I'm not getting into the Creaks sounds.....that's been some of you other guys work, I'll not be getting into it. If someone has other ideas about sounds like the submarine specific sounds, go for it. I'll not get into any changes there. I can change the crew cheering sound if no one else is doing it.

Lastly, if there is anything that doesn't seem right, or you just don't like what I've done, let me know. I can change something without trouble or put something in as requested. Won't bother me at all!
