Sometimes I think I am the only person who has even seen it.
Perhaps Bob Seger has.... I kid no I have not seen it.

Yes, I thought it was one of Martin Sheen's finer performances.

Here's a classic that I found/bought on DVD
years after seeing it on television. I thought
it was a great movie.

Just finished watching The Expendables 2. Hey, it was free, and sometimes a little mindless violence is called for. Also having Jean-Claude van Damme as the bad guy didn't hurt.

On the other hand I just found out that next year part 3 is coming. It will have the usual gang, plus Mel Gibson, Wesley Snipes, Antonio Banderas and Harrison Ford. It will probably be just as stupid and I'll probably have fun with it.

^^^

Mindless violence is always a nice change from complex storylines. When I saw Expendables, I'd just seen Man of Steel. It was a nice contrast. From 'Who am I? Why am I here?' to 'MAH PLANE HAS GURNS! TAKAKAKAKAKAKA!'

That's a GREAT movie, and based on a true story. A coal miner's son becomes a rocket scientist for NASA.
I can't believe what they had to go through to get out of that dying coal mining town.
I bought the DVD and have watched it several times.

Yes, plain good old 80's action film! And I saw I also share your opinion of JC van Damme. He was a great villain!
