You're welcome...But what your fix actually does ? I've noticed that your fix contains harbor sim files too, just like TDW fix for chimney smoke.

When I uploaded the last terrain files to Trevally for OH2 I left in the sobers harbor smoke . The ctd fix overwrites the chimney smoke sim files with FXUpdate sim files .

Sober is your chimney smoke fix specific to your mod or is it a fix for an inherent issue with OHII 2.4?

Default nice

Hey Sober, beside of your fantastic job here with your mega mod which is a kinda guideline for a good mod order for many people, i like the look of your radioroom pic, is it difficult to change those posters?
I got ALTAC installed but your pic looks better wish i could change it myself.
I know the game is about sinking ships not pin-ups but ...hey...i like it.

Got to; C:\Ubisoft\Silent Hunter 5\data\Textures\TNormal\tex\various_books_posters_ maps.dds

- Make a copy and save it somewhere, e.g. on your desktop
- Open it up in Photoshop, or whatever
- Mount the pics you want
- Save a copy somewhere, e.g. on your desktop (make sure you save it in .dds format)
- Backup your original one
- Put in your own

Or - you can make your own 'mini mod' with folders in this structure;

'Mod's name of your choice'\Data\Textures\TNormal\Tex\various_books_po sters_maps.dds

Enable it with JSGME

I love the realistic contrast, but does it affect enemies spotting? The darkness gives me a security feeling, but my deckcrew start to report contacts long before I can see them.
