He delivered his lines spot on and the character itself was the average guy, a married teacher from... I forgot, who struggles with the war just like anybody else. It is obvious you haven't seen it all.

You're a weird one...
Like I said. I only saw 2/3 of it.

It was a well done movie...but I'm weird...I know. Tom Hanks is a great actor...but every time I see him in a movie, I immediately remember Toy Story and Forrest Gump...because that's how I knew him when I was little.

He did amazing in Captain Phillips. I should actually get around to watching SPR again and watching the whole thing...but my VCR is broken. And so is my Xbox...so not even any DVD action here.

It is what you see the teenage boy go through the horror that he feels when he sees a certain event it is so shocking to him and he wants so deeply for what he knows is real not be he actually goes deaf with hysteria for a time.
I'll keep an eye out for that one. Thanks!

Good Day, sir.

I was blown away by this movie.
Same here, just saw it and still feeling a bit weird after it! They made a 'popcorn' movie that works as a piece of art. This is probably the best Hollywood can offer, Alfonso Cuaron is a master!

I saw Valkyrie recently. I'm pretty sure that most of the planes were used in the 1969 film Battle of Britain, especially the Buchon.

Claus was a good boy, with all the horrors spoken about Germany during that period, he was a hero to not only Germanys people, but to the world.

More of a martyr really, his death had no effect on the outcome, though some sources say he unraveled the fuhrer into paranoia that broke them from the top down.

I heard the Berliners did not appreciate Tom Cruise running around town in his Nazi costume.

Get over it, I still find it funny that any game or movie with a swastica has to be edited specially for Germany....Is it pretending it never happened, or fear of it happening again?

Just finished watching [REC], the Spanish horror flick.

It's good, but I'm glad I didn't pay premium rate for it, it's quite short at 75 mins. Recorded 2 off the telly a week or two ago so will watch soon, read that 3 is a joke to avoid, and 4 is back on form early next year.

It's a really really good movie

I just don't like the accents....they're too un-German.

I saw [Rec] 3.

Yes...it was a joke...a quite ridiculous one.

I watched it with my cousins last year and it was pretty funny.

I'd say pass on it...but I haven't seen any of the other 3 movies.

The actors were told to focus on the emotion, and not sounding German.

Aren't all actors told to focus on emotion?

If they don't...they're just reading lines.

I'm not bashing the movie...it's very good and the history behind it is great...but the accents threw me off just a bit when I first saw it.

If you saw Doctor Who, you'd be even more surprised to see Churchill dressed as a Nazi

Just watched End of Watch and I am kinda shaking, the movie was awesome, thrilling, intense, funny, brutal, "realistic"... it had it all.

It kinda forked up my mind and I feel like I need to recover from what I have just seen... but wow, what a movie!
