Oh, always... we're here 'till Thursday (Billy Chrystal & a myriad of others).

I gorfot to mention to cdrsubron7 that I almost always ID a ship by flag anyway. Usually, if I can't see a flag, or a recognizable escort ship, I don't shoot. Usually.

Try uninstalling the naming thingy, and then opening one of your missions in the ME
Does it load OK now?

Just throwing some suggestions out here
I should explain myself. As I've been experimenting around with the naming thing I've set up another version of 0.1 Beta to do the modding with so I don't screw up the real version I play with and make up my single missions. The addon ships are not installed in the other version I have on my HD at the moment. Sorry about that misunderstanding, max.

Granted, I always look for the red meatball before I shoot also. Unless it's a German flag.

Tell you what mate - lets make this easy

1 - send me your names cfg file with the Marus in it. Hey - a second pair of eyes is always useful to check stuff in my opinion

2 - You know your first install of FOTRSU works OK?
From the sounds of it - your second install is probably a bit soupy
Consider getting rid of it

3 - with your new names cfg I can check out all the ships in the museum and let you know if anything is wrong or missing

How does that sound mate?

Sounds great, max. I'll probably upload a version of Japanese Maru to Area 51 sometime tomorrow. Working late again tonight. Won't have time after I get home. Let you know tomorrow when I've uploaded the mod.

max-peck, my attempts at a 'baseline' have thus far failed... I can run the museum like a champ now, but I can't get a new career campaign mission to complete late-war... I keep crashing. Therefore, time to pull the "pristine" out for about the fourth time already... If it does it still, we might have an issue to look into... Surely, it's not the "Never-Ending DD Caravan of Lag" (aka: NEDDCoL) somewhere in the area...
