In CSP MaGUI all MapTools on the Navimap are bigger than in TDW UI...?! Why is this so?

Best regards,
Magic
Because I made them that way

Hi Magic.

As far as I remember this was a change in TDWs NewUisTDC in v3(?) because a user reported overlapping TDC dials in nav map view.

A silly question. Do we have to do any cfg editing for TDW's UIs in the Magui mod?

Default Map Colors/Water areas

I've a question concerning the maps water /depth shades. I noticed from the pics that the depth shades appear to be opposite to the standard shades (ie: the deeper the water, the lighter the color so that the most shallow water is the deepest blue). I really want to use this mod as it looks stunning but is there a way to have the depth shades with the deepest water having the deepest shades of blue and so on?!
Thanks
D40

Hi all!
I just now found the time to return to the game.
In the near future I will make a mod for the CSP Magui.

@ Dogfish40
A similar gradient was chosen because people who served in the Navy, we are assured that the nautical charts look just that - small places darker, deeper - lighter. You can change this by replacing the file gradient.tga. Right now I have no way to explain all the details, I need to get to my home computer.

yep. And with TDW's gradient editor for the map it really hasn't been easier

I was going to mention this as well but have been busy just coming to grips with the game and the mods.

Not sure what is involved in editing this portion of the map. Perhaps I'll try to noodle around a bit.

EDIT: I see Obelix has already answered.
