I'm using TMO (for v1.4) with the RSRD campaign layers. Maybe it has to do with RSRD?

Recently picked up SH4 again. Hadn't played it with my current rig and after the 1.1 patch, so the experience is a heck of a lot better the second time around. Made a couple of screenies during my first (and still ongoing) career mission.

This inferno was caused by USS Grouper. Sadly, this would be one of her last kills as she herself was lost due to a subnet in a most unexpected place.

I was patrolling near Bikini and those islands when I requested new orders and was sent down to the cluster of islands to the southeast. There was a subnet between the two groups and while travelling at 8192x TC, I hit the net and was lost in an instant.

Time for a new sub since I am playing DiD.

I thought of that, but I was getting tired of that sub anyway.

I like the Gato, but I was hoping after every patrol that I would get a new gray paint job or at least a new conning tower. They offered me a Balao a couple times but not to give me a new paint job or conning tower?

This "TC Death" gave me a good excuse to start a new career with a new sub.
