Ah, cheers mate. If you don't mind me asking, what's different between the two versions of ROW?

Hi Steel_Tomb, ROW is compatible with NSM, but you have to run a compatible version of ROW, read the faq here.

It's the the new Uboat Missions that's not compatible.
Hey Kriller
What files do I need to change to play ROW and the addon?

I have found that the camera mod caused my sonar station to appear as a blank screen. I simply uninstalled the PE1_1 mod, removed the camera.dat file from the following folder:
C:\Program Files\Ubisoft\Silent Hunter Wolves of the Pacific\MODS\Install PE 1_1\Data\Library
Then I reinstalled the PE1_1 mod again.

hello, to me in the the station sonar appear the black screen, i thought was the mod "Install sun flair for room" the cause of the problem, instead not, i have removed the "camera dat" like suggested from you, and the station sonar is okey!

Hi Letterboy,

I have been watching the video, it looks great and the music matches!

If this is your beginner video, then I'm looking forward to the final

I watched the video too, very very nice job!
One thing that REALLY stands out now, with those greatly improved graphics, is the Depth Indicators...really crude job there (still stock ones, if memory serves). Or, I'm too used to my custom-made, sleek design Indicators

Thanks, guys! I just bought the full version of FRAPS so I will begin capturing more footage without worry of the 30 second clip limit that the demo imposed.

By the way, the music was composed by me. I'm thinking about scoring the next video, too, but it's alot of work and very time consuming.

Default Progress of Pacific Enviroments 1.1a going to beta soon

To do:
Hopefuly ROW Camera.dat will be worked on so that you can click crewmembers in the addon.

Special effects from ROW is been worked on to make it work in the addon, we allmost have it working, but have some small bugs to correct with oilleaks burning for ever :rotfl:

here is what to expect of the beta release:

Done:
- Now all of ROW is included in one download with optional installs.
- Corrected the bug with a black line could be seen on the horizont during sun rise or sun set (see pictures!)
- Modified the scene.dat so that no more black copper sea should be seen in PE (still a little when it's dusk and storm...)
- Made 2 versions of the special effects, one for SH 1.4 and one for SH4 1.5 Uboat Missions.
- New modified ROW sounds from Torps.
- Modified the storm conditions to make the water more realistic.
- Included Coratios excelent seafloor mod.
- Included an option to install lowres underwater environments and lightshafts for those who need extra FPS

Sun set with fog

Sun set with clouds

Storm:

Kriller,
Im running your new ROW/PE packs with the Uboat addon. You have truly outdone yourself this time, and made a proud salute to Dave. The game looks absolutely stunning. Thank you so much.

Just want to make sure I've got this right...

If I install the add on, I should install PE_1_1Ala then PE_1_1_a3 to get the full effects of the PE MOD?

I think that's right but I just wanted to be sure.

Thanks!

Hi Mikkel.
Oops you are right, the torpedoes are in a different size in the SH4 Uboat Missions!, try this patch:

Torpedo screen fix to PE1_1alpha

@CaptainFrank Yes that's the install order to make it work, enjoy the sunsets.
