The changes to RSRDC were to support compatibility with TM 1.7

Add Narwhal Class Sub to Campaign.

Various small changes to support TM 1.7


Special Note: Since the RSRDC SpecOps Missions for the Narwhal Class is not complete for Phase II, integrate in the original TM 1.7 SpecOps Missions into this version of RSRDC.

Fix start data for Gato/Balao Class so they will work correctly with TM’s New Construction Flotillas.

Remove DepthCharge.sim and DethCharge.zon as they conflict with the ones in TM172

Did you test v116 with TM's "new construction"? I'm curious as it's still not working for me with the new version of TM. I have limited time to play, so I haven't looked at the flotilla.upc files closely myself.

Anyway, if it works for you and not for me then I'll just let it go, however, I'd really like to use your mod with TM.

It was suggested that I post here as well.

I'm trying to return to Pearl after running out of torps. It's june 43 and I'm around 135E 25N. I get a sighting of a task force that is entirely cruisers -light and heavy. Anyways there has got to be about 100 of them. The line of ships is 17NM long.

This TF causes my game to virtually stop, and it has taken me hours of real time to try and break contact because of the bogging. When I break contact and the FPS picks up to normal I save the game and then go back to play. I have gone 1000's of miles N and S from this contact but when I try to head back to Pearl I run into another or the same TF again and the game virtually stops.

I'm running a new install of SH4 with the 1.4 patch, TM and RSRD for this patch.

I'm wondering if anyone has had this before. I've also tried starting the mission from Pearl again and have had the same results when the torps run out and I try to head home.

RSRDC Emergency Patch

This patch applies to ALL versions of RSRDC. Very bad bug in the 42a_Jap_Taskforce.mis file that cause two groups of cruisers to generate over 1000 times. This will cause SH4 to lockup. See the following post for details.

i have been away for a while and of course im way behind in all the new stuff here. this mod looks fantastic and i want to try it out, but there is 22 pages and i want to make sure i dont miss anything, what is the stuff i need to download to get this mod working, and its 1.4 compatible right.

from what i read you are doing a fantastic job on this one.

Hawk, d/l TM 1.7.2 and then the RSRDC v118 TM version and away you go. Once Leo has signed off on the ROW mods that are compatible with patch 1.4 you will have evrything you need for the complete SHIV realistic experience. (IMHO of course... )

Just 'finished' my 2nd patrol in the new RSRDC 118 TM compat. Have not seen 1 jap ship!! In the 2nd patrol (its mid 1942) I was sent to the Aleutians to recon two harbours (Kiska and somewhere else) then I was to RTB at Dutch Harbour, well, I reconned both bays, no japs, returned to Dutch Harbour, my mission star greyed out and my messages said I had completed but would not allow me to dock and end patrol at Dutch Harbour, so I thought, OK, must have to refuel and head home to pearl, did that, got back to pearl, same deal, won't let me dock and end mission, only refueal/rearm, so I thought, OK (Again) I must have buggered off from Dutch too soon, better head back, made the long trip back to the Aleutians, pulled into Dutch and.... can't dock and end patrol......:hmm: Is there a tonnage requirement to end these missions that they didnt tell me about in my briefing??? I hope not, because I have not seen one jap ship in the 2 months ive been tooling about the northern pacific........

Default Missing converted SH3_Units for SH4(RSDS) !!!!!!!!

@lurker_hlb3

I have download the newest Version (105 Stock_SH4, and 118 TM) and I
missing the converted SH3_Units for SH4(RSDS) !!!!!!!!
I read in the Names.cfg this lines,

[Sea]

DDWmod=Admiralty Mod. Destroyer
CLBellona=Bellona Light Cruiser
CLFiji=Fiji Light Cruiser
CVIllustrious=Illustrious Fleet Carrier
CVImplacable=Implacable Fleet Carrier ( totaly unknown Carrier )

DDLClass=L Class Destroyer
DDMClass=M Class Destroyer
DDQClass=Q Class Destroyer
DDSClass=S Class Destroyer

but the units are not in the seafolder and rosterfolders.
