I guess it becomes a tactical decision too - I've done missions where I've set up a counter-detection trigger. I've snuck up close(ish) to another sub - as soon as I flooded tubes, the counter-detection trigger fired!
Changing depth and messing with the length of the TA has also set off the counter-detection trigger! That can make life 'interesting' if you're chasing a Kilo and you're within Shkval range! |
