Cape Town too far away
I've been ordered to patrol around Cape Town. Regardless of speed, it never leaves me with enough fuel to return to Penang. And I cannot see any resupply source along the way I could go to.
Any ideas? Should I just ignore it? |

Theres your problem, you're being assigned patrol grids for a IXD, which at a speed of 10 or less knots had a range of over 20K nm

yes, that is all too common in the stock game when using the Walther Boat. I ignore that patrol.

Recently saw a You-tube series (History Nerd) end primarily because of this
I've been playing SH5 lately rather than SH4 but isn't there a mod that puts a Milch-cow down near Madagascar? I can't believe that the game has them (I've seen them on earlier missions in SH4) and that no one has made a mod that just does that.
