So I just need to leave the Mods inside the OMEGU_v300 Patch package? When do you select them when playing?

From the readme in the first post of this thread that "nobody reads" and the install instructions that "nobody follows"

Special note: "ALL" patches are rollups and you only need the latest versions to get all previous changes

Install institutions:

  • Uncompress OMEGU v300 Patch x pkg
  • You will find the following mods: OMEGU_v300_Patchx, OM_SH3_Command_Keys, KiUB_English, and OMEGU_English
  • Moves these mods into the MODS directory for install with JSGME

Thanks for responding however you ignored my initial question and quoted a response to another poster. My question was I want to install these Mods but am unsure of the order because they overwrite each other. So...

OMEGU_v300
OM_Harder_Escort_L1
OMEGU_v300_Patch5
KiUB_English
OMEGU_English

installed in that order is the correct way? Thanks.

Hi Lurker, Omegu appears to have a graphical bug with the American subs.

I presume the white square appears over all American subs, however I have only actually checked all the American fleet school missions, and the first four single missions. It is present only when the sub is submerged.

My install order is:

rsrd 550
rsrd 5xx patch 1
om 705
om 720
om 720 patch 2
omegu 300
omegu 300 patch 5a
kiub english

It appears only with omegu installed. When only rsrd and om are installed, the standard orange circle appears. The square does not appear over U-boats.

Thanks!

That's because OM is for German subs only. If you want to sink rising suns you need to disable all OM related mods and go for RFB or TMO. I'm actually surprised that you could start a game with the Americans without crashing to desktop.

You can play the US side with the "stock" version of RSRDC and OM at the same time.

Go to Data\Misc\ in OMEGU and remove "UMark.dds"

That brings the orange mark back

But I renamed the original file as well, and that got rid of the mark altogether.

Thank you for your help.

Outstanding mods, by the way. You sir, are a demigod.
