As long as windows doesn't <censored> with the position of everything on a reboot (it likes to do that some times) I have no trouble. Anything I use every few weeks I can find instantly, otherwise it will take me a few seconds to skim the icons. I also usually group similar stuff together like game shortcuts and the like. It also gets cluttered with stuff like patches and installers that I haven't bothered storing yet elsewhere.

Btw for those of you using fancy smancy desktops, you may want to mention what software or whatever your using to achieve it. I'm sure some people would love to know.

Heh cute but nah for me anyhow, I've had cluttered desktops since windows 3.11.. It would be weird not having it any more.

But maybe someone else will take a shine to it

Nice find, longam, I guess I should take a look at Stardock's site more often. I use quite a few of their apps, but didn't know about that one.

Why not just do what I do and create some folders on the desktop called for example Utilities & drag all icons of that type there, you can then change the folders icon, as in my desktop to something nice!

I knew I recognized that scene. Very nice.

Think I'll go with this for a while.

Well, my DT had an facelift. Nothing fancy, nice clean black bar with black icons and a new wallpaper.
