Attack periscope annoyance
When I click in the attack periscope view, to move the periscope, and then click, to release the periscope, my cursor is on the "Fire Torpedo" button and it fires a torpedo even though I am not ready to fire. How is this corrected?

Correct me if I am wrong but are you using the resolution mod? I have this same issue and my resolution is 1920x1080p. I found no immediate fix but for now I would just recommend using the escape key to pause the game of which from there you can unpause it. You could probably also get a GUI where the fire button was in a different spot or even edit it yourself if you knew how to do that.

Yes, I am using the resolution mod. I don't see how that mod would cause this issue? I'm certainly not going to fool with moving the "fire" button. I don't remember having this issue in my past SH3 "lives"? But, It was long enough ago that I may have been using a different resolution.
SO...that brings up another question...If my Windows7 desktop is 1920X1080, what should I set, in my SH3 D3D.cfg so that I get an unstretched SH3 window in fullscreen? Currently my gauges are all ovals instead of round. |

For the other problem, you better use mods that are designed to work with this resolution:
DGui https://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?t=247186 or ARB Wide Gui https://www.subsim.com/radioroom/sho...d.php?t=232178 |

Ivanov...would it not be easier to change my PC's resolution to something 4:3, before playing? Although...I seem to not be able to select a 4:3 resolution in my settings

Sorry I don't know, give it a try
I remember using this fix https://forums-de.ubisoft.com/showth...64-DX9HiResFix at the time, but i don't think the result was impressive |
