View Full Version : How do you use the Time Lapse/Animation in the ME?

I clicked on the Arrow (Play Button), and also the + button to accelerate time. The time went by fast, but most of my units didn't proceed to their waypoints. Nothing moved, except one tanker that had no waypoints. :damn:

What am I doing wrong? Does this part of the ME work? How and what is it used for? :hmm:

The ME is frustrating . I tried to put in a simple base . No Dice. I've given up. I hope you have better luck.

The Dev's made the ME . Programers here seem to understand it. The rest of us less knowledgable are out of luck.

Well, I'm a programmer, and can figure our the most 'obvious' stuff. But some things take time.

I figured this problem out. I had the mission starting in 1938, but those ships didn't enter service till 1942, so they don't do anything till then. I just moved the mission year ahead to 1943 and it started working...

There are some date filters to the left of the "play" button. The start date is when time starts when you hit "play" as well as filtering what units you see on the map.

So your mission is june 42, set the left time to 1942 and 6. Hit play.

What simple base are you trying to place, firewall? there is an option on the menu pull downs to show land units. pick it from roster, and drop on map.
