The Mighty Lolwaffles

So in our second campaign, in order to spice things up a little we are taking a B17 full of Lolwaffles across to visit the German military.
HunterICX was piloting, Arclight ball-gunner, Raptor top-gunner, Task Force fore-gunner, and I was the rear-gunner.

Our first mission was a cake-walk until we reached the target, the Raptor took a flak shell to the face and two other bombers found themselves in pieces across North-western France. However our bomber managed to return to base successfully where Raptor was hosed out of the top gun.

Waiting for take-off at RAF Boxted (which is odd since Boxted flew B-26s...but there you go).

Now out over the North Sea, heading south-east towards St. Omer

Crossing the French coast, we wait for the German flak to party like it's 88.

Task Force deserts us while we line up for our bomb run, the first casualty of the group occurs ahead.

Bombs gone!

Now the flak wakes up and puts Raptor to sleep...permanently.

Despite the damage we make it back to England safely

And park up.
