TrackIR has been on IL2, but that is a new one, now you can go closer to the dials etc.
I have to say, Kegetys sure is busy! He´s everywhere! If the game can be modded, you can most propably find a mod made by Keg. ![]() |

Yeah, 6dof is starting to appear in alot of games now. Normal trackIR lets you look around in a fixed position. TrackIR with 6dof makes your head unrestricted to the fixed postion. It lets you tilt your head and lean inside the cockpit to look around blindspots.
With 6dof you can lean and look around the back of your seat if you are looking behind the aircraft. You can also look around a hud or gunsight in front of you. You can look around the metal frame of the canopy that gets in the way of your view (alot of german bombers in IL2 had this problem). In first person shooters it lets you lean and peak around walls. In bi-planes and helicopters it lets you lean out the side to make it easier to see to land. |
