Sound or no sound

Hello
I tested stock 1.5 for "man the deck gun" sound and on US side there was "Yes sir" and on german side there was no sound,
so I am not going to worry if I do not hear some sound in Sh4 that I can hear In Sh3.
I will only test If there are some US sounds left . If NOT then
I will release version2.

Sh4 env made to look like stock Sh3 env.
Env colors, waves, and sounds/music + Uboat low/res skins.
Gredits to skwas for S3D. Sounds and env files are separete mods in same 7-zip file so you can use only env mod without sounds (with fleetboats). Captain von Keldunk. size 90.3 Mt
About Sh3ToSH4Sounds, if you hear english speak instead of german,
go to C:\MODS\Sh3ToSh4Sounds\Data\Sound\Speech folder, in it is a foler named as "1" then make 8 copies of this folder and name them from 2 to 9.
so that you have nine folders named 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9. now you shoud only hear german lanquage. reason why I put only one folder in my mod =
Saved a lot of work ,also 160Mt smaller mod size.

When I try to DL this from subsim/mods I get a login required popup even though I am logged in. When I fill it out and submit, I get a 530 error message.
FileFront works, however.

THX for info I have now edited my subsim link hope it works now.
Also soon new version "Sh3ToSh4Env_RFB1.5_OM700".
When you play German side you hear German voices and when US side you
hear english. works with OM700/RFB1.5

I think you will like this too. This is for Stock SH41.5 Uboat missions.
Here is more integrated version of my Sh3 toSh4 env mod.
A new thing is that when you play US side you hear English voice, and when you play german side you hear german voice.
Yes now it is possible to play in both languages with same install .

I think you will like this This is for RFB 1.5 and OM700.
Here is more integrated version of my Sh3 toSh4 env mod.
As my scene file did not agree with RFB I removed it.
So now you have nice mixed RFB enviroment with SH3 elements.
A new thing is that when you play US side you hear English voice, and when you play german side you hear german voice.
Yes now it is possible to play in mixed language enviroment.
Also US sub water streams and exhaust smoke is integrated. + German sub stock SH3
high res skins. Gredit to Skwas for S3D, Ducimus for Narwhal and sub smoke.RFB team for RFB1.5. lurker for OM700. For my work no permission is needed, use as you like,

I have a clean install of SH4 1.5 and I would lik to play with OM700 and your enviroment. What files should I install?

Is it in this order?

1º SH4 1.5
2º OM700
3º Sh3ToSh4Env RFB1.5 OM700 ?
or Sh3EnvToSh4V2

Ok, I gave it a test drive. I like it! For those that dig the colors of SH3...you got it! Horizon looks good. Water colors have a bit of a green hue which is nice. Under the water a nice green. Clouds look good. Need to tweak a few things and this kind of sucks because it requires a mod for each mod package, ie. TMO, RFB, OM and others. The reason is, sharing between the two theaters in the files is a bit sticky...just like it was in the war.

Anyway, I ran it with TMO and the following needs to be looked at:
1) Dive bell for German boats plays for the fleet boats. This also includes the surface bell and emergency bell...need the klaxon. (reason for separate mod for each theater unless you know something I don't and I'm sure that is the case)
2) The sky at night has a yellow color. What I did was adjust gamma and overcame most of that. Might want to get a darker color.

Other than that, I think it was a cool idea and yes, it feels like SH3. You also added the music and that brought some memories back of SH3. Personally, I think you did a cool job here and had your thinking cap on when you decided to do this. I think if you look into those two things I mentioned you will have a very cool SH3 environment in SH4...two thumbs up.

O.k will look to this problem.
Keep in mind the yellow color might be my card setting so perhaps others might report the same? As far as the bell/klaxon I think you would have to create two mods, one for each theater. Also, I hit the dive button and heard, "Yevol Kuelaun"...there is a German inflitrator on my boat
Some fine tuning and it should be a very nice enviro mod

These patches should fix some enemy speech in your sub.

If you do not like "sub bell ring" and want Klaxon and other US sub sounds back
