Any recommendations for someone new to SH4?
So I (somehow) managed to get SH4 working on steam
But I’ve never played a silent hunter game before are there an recommendations for a new player in terms of mods and guides? (V 1.5 with U boat DLC) |

I have played the FotRS mod and the TMO. Either make the game very enjoyable and enhance realism.

then look at playing TMO_Bubblehead and Fall of the Rising Sun Ultimate (FOTRSU). or Dark Waters, on the German side of the disk.

Based on personal experience when I started out: Best mod - increased breath holding time, best guide - swim towards the surface!
