Default Milch Cow: Does it wipe out renown?

I connected to a Milch cow for resupply for the first time, just to see how it would go. No problem, but when I left I found that the Renown I had accumulated in the patrol was gone. Does that mean that it is lost completely or will it reappear once I dock at my original port of call - St Nazaire? This may be answered in the documentation loaded with GWX3, which I read, but alas that's a long time ago.

When you dock at a Milch cow, it ends your current patrol. Any renoun you had accumulated will have been added to your career total. When you leave the Milch cow, it is the start of a new patrol.

As stated by HW£....check your career total or minimise the game and go to your SH3 folder in C\My docs and open up the Patrols_0 CFG and the DeltaRenown figure is third line from the bottom.

Actually guys, I meant to say 'tonnage' not 'renown'. I did look at Commander and the SH3 logs in "documents" and it appears that the accrued tonnage is preserved, but that's difficult to determine since the formal patrol is not complete until I redock at St Nazaire. I bet this was addressed in the original documentation that came with GWX3, but I couldn't find it...I did look.

Thanks, hate to lose a rather successful patrol, but no great harm if it is gone.

Thanks for the response, good to hear from you. I wonder (worry) about the long-term future of SH3 and the sub-sim community.

Tonnage and Renown WILL NOT be affected.

Like I said, docking at a Milch cow ends the present patrol, so nothing is lost. To SH3 it is just like docking at another base other than your home port.
