Default Question on "Reporting Accuracy" field

Hi all,

Does anybody know how the "Reporting Accuracy" field of the DW sensor database works? It seems it is always set to 0 in all sensors.

I am trying to find a way to make certain sensors more accurate, not just modifying at which ranges the sensor is able to detect a target depending on this one's object source levels but rather the inherent accuracy of the sensor, that is things such as speed and range error rate, etc...

I have found that many times, especially during anti-aircraft gun firing tests on IA controlled ships, the sensors though detect the target perfectly doesn't have the accuracy expected from a continuous wave radar at close ranges and thus the ships fire at a wrong position, namely an old position, like if they didn't get correct range or speed readings. This is unthinkable in modern CIWS systems which have a computer calculating the necessary lead and a wide array of sensors dedicated to such purpose. Even an old real life Shilka with a vaccum valve computer is more accurate at directing fire that most ships in DW.

Do you know as well if this have anything to do with the on-purpose inaccuracy rate of the autocrew (20%) or the lack of continuity when firing AA guns (instead of firing a long burst or a rapid series of short bursts as long as the target is in range, the guns seems to fire a small volley, wait for 5-10 seconds -a precious time to shoot down an incomming missile and then fire another volley, like if the target dissaperead during that time) ? The only gun that works properly is the controllable FFG phalanx, and even that needs an overhaul to reflect real life firing rates.
