Greetings from a new captain

Hiya!

Nice to meet you all. I’m an avid gamer, at least from an hours-played standpoint though maybe not in terms of skills!

I played Silent Hunter 1 back when it first came out I still have the box (and maybe the CD somewhere?) and loved it. Historically I’ve been more of a flight sim guy but I got the urge to pull SH4 out of my Steam Library and I’m definitely a noob these days.

Subsim’s already helped me with questions so I’m joining the community because I’m sure I’ll have lots more! Also I’d like to lessen the temptation to throw my keyboard through my brand new monitor!
