The locations of the new patrol grids are contained in the Readme (RTFR). I'm currently patrolling the North American coast but have the 'North Atlantic' mod enabled as there are no Milch Cows yet. When I have finished patrolling my given grid, I'm ordered to patrol somewhere en route back to my base... the best of both worlds!

Am I right in thinking it's normal to get a conflict in JSGME pertaining to Randomised events.cfg when enabling the second part of Patrol orders mod?

Yes - this is normal and you can ignore it as long as it refers to one of my mods or the SH3 Cmdr files for GWX 3.0.

There is now a update to the GWX version of this mod - v1.0
This version adds an additional 70 or so quotes to the main menu screen (English only at this time), supports changes being made when you load the game mid-patrol and is a single GWX version (I have incorporated the French and German changes into this mod).

Enjoy!
I'm just getting to grips with some of the possibilities that SH3 Commander opens up for modders like me who just play around with existing files. Compatibility should no longer be an issue, and a mod that works with WAC will also work with NYGM, LSH and any other mod or supermod. The only exception is GWX which has its own SH3 Cmdr files, but it means every mod should have just two versions. No more weeks of adjusting mods to get them to fit in with the most popular supermods! If only I'd worked this out a couple of years ago (or read JScones Readme properly!). I can hear JScones now - "RTFR, WB!"

Sorry if I necro this thread... I just installed this mod (with JSGME in SH3Commander) + GWX + H.sie V1681.
August 1941, with a VIIC on patrol grid CG11, East of Portugal. So, I installed VII South on JSGME as it covers from Ireland to Gibraltar. After about a week or so without spotting anything in my patrol grid I sent a Status Report... but I never received any secondary patrol grid. Is it normal? Can it happen that I will not receive any secondary grid? I checked and everything seems to be installed fine (random message in intro + after my savefile is loaded). Thanks! |

You have to sink at least one ship and disable BDU messages with h.sie option's selector.

I checked - BDU messages is checked under the h.sie option's selector. So that means it is set correctly? |
