Default [REL] Manos Scopes for SH5 (only for TDW's Gui mod)

===========================
Manos Scopes-SH5 (for TDW's Gui)
===========================

(this optic mod is for use ONLY in TDW's gui . the version of TDW's guis that was used during the building of this mod was the v6.3.4)

1.Both scopes have now the , historically for german scopes, proper FOV (Field Of View) which is 38 degrees.

2.aobf tool's scales are , also , perfect calibrated so you can enjoy this brilliant mechanical calculator.

3.of course, low power zoom is setted to x1,5 and high power zoom to x6 (historical zooms for german scopes in ww2).

---------------------
Scopes specifications
---------------------

Attack and Observation periscopes:
------------------------------------

FOV = 38 degrees
zooms = x1,5 / x6

------------
Installation
------------

1. first of all you have to install TDW's gui (current version is v6.3.4)

2a. next, install the ''Manos Scopes-Core Files'' which installs the core files of the mod. the default files are for use at resolutions with 4:3 ratio

2b.attention: ONLY if you are NOT using a 4:3 resolution ratio !
then choose the ''Manos Scopes-patch for XXX'' that matches with the resolution ratio that you are using and install it immediately after ''Manos Scopes-Core Files''

3.This step is OPTIONAL. if you want a totally Black Background at scopes enable the ''Manos Scopes-Optional-Black BackGround''

------
Notes
------

Note 1:
-------

the aobf tool's scales for the uzo have been removed ! this is made so becuase there was no aobf tool at uzo device . uzo's main use was only for bearing readings.

note 2 (for the aobf tool):
-------------------------

if you are running after for precise results from this tool...you will need ,additionally, a mod that is correcting the ships's dimensions (masts and lengths).ToniloCoyote is preparing this mod ...so keep an eye on him when he release it(he is making,so far, a perfect job).
However,'hardcore' players are estimating(by eye) masts's or funnels's heights and ships's lengths and are using this mechanical calculator as ... a calculator for finding the ranges or aobs based on their estimations.harder...yes...but from now on ...its up to you how much hard you want to go for !

note 3 :
--------

this mod is effecting only the optics via attack and observation periscopes.
attention: there have been no workaround for the rest optic devices of sub ( uzo , conning deck , binoculars )...i left the stock settings for these.

--------
Credits
--------

to Trevally for all his patience on testing these optics to all different resolution ratios(a procedure that needs a ...looot of patience) and for all his participation-suggestions during the development of these scopes.

to Joegrundman for his brilliant aobf tool

to TDW for all his achievments so far in his gui mod
