Default Conning tower bug solved (well hacked) now the...

Basically have the conning tower upgrade bug fixed in TMO, well via a simple hack will include the instructions in . Also setting upgrade dates so first conning tower upgrade occurs in prior to having a radar in June 42. Basically, it is a work around find acceptable for now.

Issue is losing gun crew slots or not upgrading. Example in my Tambor when upgraded to late war conning tower, lost the AA gun slots for crew. When loaded sim, had a 20 MM single forward instead of double no way to upgrade etc.


Now, with Gato in Dec 44, hacked the file to get the final conning tower, the "covered wagon" but still have 40 MM aft and 20 MM forward, should have a 40 MM forward as well. Tried to change the guns in the ActivePlayerUnits.upc in the gamesave as did with the conning tower, but did not upgrade the guns.

Need a fix and am stumped(ugh), as I have the 40 MM working as a deck gun now instead of AA, fires at enemy vessels, will be quite useful fighting the smaller boats later in war. vAssistance appreciated.
