Default Killing in the Rough Sea

As we all know, the rough sea state is a double-blade knife: it can cover your action by the swollen waves so that the escorts are hard to spot you or depth-charge you, on the other hand it's also hard for you to kill a juicy fat C2 cargo with just one precious eel. In practice it often costs me 2 or 3 eels, sometimes even 4 eels (contact detonation) to fininsh a C2 cargo when the wind speed is 10 to 15 meters per second while it sometimes costs me only one eel (still contact detonation) when the wind speed is below 5 meters per second. In terms of magnetic detonation, I usually don't empoly it in a scenario of rough sea state encounter cuz the torpedo depth set is hard to determine because of the heavy pitch of the ships. So I always render this kind of situation truly simulates the real combat scenario of WWII submarine warfare and it's one of the true merits of the game SH3(vanilla,without any mods). Salute! SH3 dev team.

Get in close, 1,500 meters or better. If escorts are roaming the flanks I would advise letting that target go.

In real life, they didn’t attack in storms...unless very very few exceptions.
