SH1 - locking up?

hi, i have just got back from a 2 week brack and fired SH 1 up to pass some time. started a new carrer in a asisatic S-bout and got a photo recon mission, i get to within 10000m of the port (sank 1 Fubanki ?? DD) and there are planes allover and a secound DD and a cupel of merchents. any way just befor i whent on holiday i D/L'ed a realism mod from a website (OLD SH1 - think it was subpac) and a fix file thats supposed to stop crases (****2MAP) but sins i have the commander version of SH1 i installed it and only got to try it when i got back. do you hink that the files that i D/L'ed are corsing the crashes as now i carnt start any carrer with out a crash. thanks in adv. sorry if i was a bit vage.

I think you shouldn't have installed Hawk's realism mods in the middle of a career or a saved game. If you want to complete the career you were running, the best thing is to make a copy of the saved games and then delete & reinstall again SH1. Then you simply add the saved campaign files to the new install & go on.
