Mod Request: Periscope Range Line

Just wondering if anyone else finds the way SH4 does a transparency for the range instead of giving a solid line like in SH3 annoying? sometimes its hard to tell where im tryin to put the mast of the ship when im ranging, and i would prefer the solid black line like in SH3. not sure how it was in real life, but the line is much easier for my lazy eyes to see

anyone think they could mod this?
