Good Read
Got this the other day, interesting look at the Cold War sub ops from the Russian side.
"Rising Tide" by Gary E Weir and Walter J Boyne. Very informative view of the differences in the training, skills, and thinking of the USSR skippers. Really brings to light how the USSR Navy operates; less a study of the actual boats, more an insight into the men who drive them. Good stuff! http://books.google.com/books?vid=IS...IbHRzcPyt0KSj4 |
