Default RSRDC_V5xx_Patch1

RSRDC V5xxx Patch 1 Readme

This patch corrects the problem of "Dead Zones" (i.e. no IJN Ships) during time periods when one campaign layer is finishing and one is beginning.

Install in port

Works on "ALL" current versions of RSRDC

Lurker...I don't like to peek at ME, rather try to find things on my own...but what is the largest convoy you've done and do you know how many ships....

Possibly the Java invasion force...

It you time it right you can often find where convoys or TF pass each other or about come together. Such as the battle of PS, two large JP TF basically passed each other, close to 70 ships.

I love Java in Feb and March of 42. I think this is a SS of the Java force, can't remember the number of ships, but I didn't fit most of them in the shot.

Guess I will peek, want to see if I've missed one larger.

Default re

Lurker, I know that if you do certain things to campaign layers such as changing convoy composition, etc in the mission editor it will mess things up but if you only add new traffic and do no touch the existing traffic, will it still throw things off? Would like to add some singles with an escort...esp the tankers, tankers were important ships, prob didnt see many alone esp mid to late war.Want to add some of the AI Japanese subs also.

Default Thank-You

Armistead steered me to this thread. I find this helpful. There is so much information on this site about everything, that it is sometimes hard to find exactly what you are looking for.

Default I tasted RSRD

Merci et bravo pour ce MOD.

My first carreer with RSRD:
SH4 U-Boat Missions + RSRDC_RFB_V575 + RDRSC_V5xx_Patch1
Base : TF 3/51/71 (Cavite) on 7 dec 1941
USS Snapper (Salmon class)
Manual torpedo firing. Dud torpodoes = false (I hate defective torpedoes )

1st patrol: patrolling in Gulf of Lingayen during 72 h.
After 72 h. no ships detected.
Message : Heavy IJN units in transit from Cam Raul Bay. I run to 07°30'- 110°E...
Bingo ! Big IJN Task Force detected and sunk : 90,000 tons
On the way back, I meet a new Task Force but I only have 5 fish. Another battleship will join his friends.
I rallied the base in Surabaya : many medals !
I buy SD radar and a bow 4" gun.

2nd patrol: patrolling in Macassar Strait and report IJN contacts to ABDA TF 3 ASAP.
Arriving on the area, non-escorted convoy merchant detected but impossible to send the message.
Attack!

I want to arm the gun but location for the crew is no longer available. I do not think RSRD is involved because I had the problem with TMO, a time.
38,000 merchant tons sunk. Despite shooting manual, pretty easy, but the planes were annoyed !
Back to Surabaya. 5 medals

I loved:
- Patrolling with realistic goals
- The new navigation map with a lot of bases indicated
- Fueling in Balikpapan

Some questions:
- Nagumo's fleet (Pearl Harbor attack) never comes into play.

Overall it's a great MOD. Thanks.

Just be sure to download the correct version, and install in the proper sequence.
