And Italy won 2:1. Close call though.

Two tight games tonight but I expect Holland to edge it against Czech Republic and Belgium to to the same against Portugal.

Holland - Czech is the match I will watch with interest. Winner from this shall meet Denmark in the quarterfinal.

Most interesting match for me is England Vs Germany. Germany is and have always been my favorite team Holland come second.

I wonder if Twinkle Toes will achieve the international goal scoring record tonight?.
Portugal will go out with a bang tonight because the players are not very good defensively, the Germany game proved that, If it's an open game as I suspect it will be I expect Belgium and Portugal to put on the game of the tournament for us, where have I heard that before.

Aye, the Czechs totally outplayed the Dutch and were deserved winner.

England are the only team to beat them in the competition so far so I hoper that doesn't turn out to be an omen.

After the capitulation of the Dutch yesterday I'm thinking I should take up predicting the bloody weather instead. Well done to the Czechs, a well deserved win.

If Alvaro Morata is not playing I would go for Spain, he's one of the poorest excuses of a striker in this tourney, Croatia aren't much better either, I've tossed a coin and it's come up Croatia, so that's it then a bloody coin toss.

I've seen France play and I'm still not convinced they'll win this competition, I expect France to win this one though and that Olympic diver (Mbappe) to get a penalty awarded as a bonus.
