In Florida USA. It's all about cash. The monkey on this guy's back are the contributors that financed his trip to be the Governor. He can't shut their business down. So the virus must flow and so does the money. Who cares about sheep.The virus is a godsend to the politician and by the way every politician in this country has had to go into "Quarantine" I have yet to hear one of them or their family's die. They have the good Blue Blood right.

That's the political dilemma every governor faces I guess. It seems they work with projections as a way to say when its time to quarantine. I suppose its intended to prevent the entire nation from economically collapsing (worse than it will) because the whole place shut down at the same time. Some will get it right sadly others probably not.

Think about it. If everybody and everything just took a three week freeze and then started up would that be the end of the world? No money changing hands etc.

No kidding. How hard would that be?

I can see sending a relief check (to be paid back in time by payroll deduction) to people under 30, but shouldn't people have a small emergency fund by the time they are 30+ ?

Sounds interesting but how much preparation do you think would be necessary for this three week freeze? There are a million things that would have to be done to prepare the entire population for a three week break like what you are proposing and that is going to take time, maybe so long the virus will have already spread unhindered.

You definitely couldn't do this without warning. It would create large scale civil unrest and put the government in the position of being the people jailers. That will not go over well.
