Hello, This is my first post, and to be completely honest I am just posting in an effort to reactivate my ability to download this file. I was informed a little over a day ago that I had exceeded my daily limit, and when it didn't reset the next day I saw in the error message that this may help prove that I am not a bot.

Thanks

The reason for that is that it costs money to host all these mods - a lot of money. We don't demand that people pay for downloading, but we do ask that they be a part of our community. We really are a fun, helpful group on the whole.

Welcome Aboard, and thanks for your honesty.

That happens, but if you keep trying you can get them. I got two from there today.

Welcome to SubSim.

Is FM New Interior 2.1D that you want?
If that's the case, I've just uploaded it here for you:

wolf_howl15 Some headsup

Greetings!

Sadly, when I still had my slight knowledge about SH3 coding,
I received no help how to develop what I need inside the commands section of the code, and novadays I can't remember a thing from it.

The good news is, that anno I made a very detailed guide about how to use this beta version, so at this point I can only suggest to read the sticky, all lines of it, understand the limitations, and implement the manual targetting techniques detailed, so you can get your "attacks from the conning tower" experience.

I do not make any promises, mainly because of lack of time, but who knows?
Also this one is functional as it is, just have one or two workarounds.

Im amazed how much people were downloading it,
and I can only suggest that if someone likes the idea, read through the forum manual I posted at the sticky.

Good winds, and Godspeed!

Default Stepback

I wanted to use the 3D control tower periscope because you could open multiple torpedo bow doors with the tower switches and then fire single shots.
I looked at the stepback command a few years ago and had trouble with the double jump back from tower deck. I used a key, which was attached to a spare mouse button. I eventually got the stepback to work from any room, equipment, 3D dials and map. e.g. Gun or UZO->Tower deck->Tower->Control room.
I did hit a bug though. Some jumps would make the Control Room shake, eventually causing the view to roll to one side by about 20 degrees, was like the sub was listing to one side. I suspected there was a problem with the camera angle setting, but never got to investigate.
I lost all my work when the disk drive went down.
