Default Embarassed to ask, almost

I have only been playing SC/SCXIIc since Moby Dick was a minnow, and just noticed something-at least on my computer.
Is the deepest preset for a torpedo 2000 feet, or is something wrong on my setup? I know the Mark 48 ADCAP designed to go to 3000 feet, as we believed the Akula would be able to operate down to or at lest close to this depth.

Thanks

MK48ADCAP was specificaly designed to take out al'fa class submarines and according to my chart has a max depth of around 2,200 feet (bear in mind al'fa can dive to 900meters and not even her own torpedos can be launched at that depth)

akula 2 Gepard can dive to 675 meters and has a crush of 700 meters

The 900 meter Alfa is a myth caused by Tom Clancy and based on a NATO screw up. It can operated around 400-500 meters.

al'fa could dive to 875meters 900 is like end of the line below that and its all scrap metal

400 meters to 500 meters is normal oparational depth its a bit like the akula

500 meters oparational 675 meters crush
