Whenever I built lego ships water seeped in through the gaps and sank my sad creation.

Beautiful. My LEGO ships also sunk....or they listed badly whenever I tried to launch them in my bath tub.
I remember when I was in seventh grade, and I read two of Reeman's books. I don't remember their english titles...but the commanders of the subs where Steven Marshall and Robert Ainslie ) Anyway...it took me one full day to build a LEGO sub...that was 1.70 meters long I could hardly move it whitout breaking it. I was so proud of myself. It's decks were not mounted, so I could move the men inside. There was no internet back then and I couldn't gather much information...so I really don't think that it's structure and interiors reflected the historical truth, but I did my best. |
