Dear Uber Gruber,

of course the necessary changes for the new harbours were made and there will be “a little more traffic” in the Mediterranean Sea.

Dear LivingSilentHunter III Friends!

At the moment we are working on the installation tests of the final version of LivingSilentHunter III Version 5.

LSH3 V5 will be delivered in one complete EXE-File. This means, that we have chosen the way to prepare one EXE-File.
We offer this complete package in two downloadable versions: optimized for slower DSL-connections splitted in several packages and for fast DSL-connections in one single file.

For LSH3 V5 we have bundled an extensive package of MODs and Tools. Besides the main MOD there are eleven additional MODs and eight variations for some of these additional MODs.

The LSH3 V5 installation packet includes the latest version of Jonesoft’s JSGME preinstalled. Furthermore five other SH3-Tools are available for the player to be installed. For example the "SH3Commander for LSH3 V5".

Content and Utilisation of all MODs and tools are documented in details.
The information’s for the players are available in nearly 40 PDF- and JSGME-QuickInfos in German and in English language.

LSH3 V5 will be functional for Windows XP, Windows Vista und Windows 7.

To be sure, that this new installation will be save and without of any errors, we need additional time.

We will guarantee the release for Dec-18-2009, maybe a little earlier. ;-)

Regards Blueduck

Version 5 is out. If you have the download speed, its available on their website. I just tried to download it and the download cancelled in about an hour with only 63 percent of the file being downloaded. They recommend not using a download manager for the download. Speaking for myself, I'm not sure how I'm going to be able to make the download. Looks like a great mod, I hope they have a fix or solution to speed up the download or something. I'll keep checking in.

I was reading thu the english mini manual at lunch time here and it seems to indicate the importance of the radio messaging structure within the mod. A lot of the time I DO like to play with german voices and enligh subtext (mostly for atmosphere) Are the messages in English? The examples in the manual are in German ( which unfortunatley I do not read). Hopefully the photo clips are jeust that way to avoid two complete mini manuals.

Just from readin this looks like one great mod! Thank you all!

As more guys download and install this fine looking mega mod, can we get some reports on how various other smaller mods work withing the structure of this one. Peronally I've become addicted to some of the enhanced dameage mods and Raphael's locked GUI interface. It would be interesting so see what's compatable and what's not. or

Thanks again modders!

You know there's just that "something" about SH3 that keeps drawing you back over and over. There's an underlying tension of being the hunter AND the hunted that just isn't there in SH4.

Hello Ritmeister,

if you choose your speech settings like this:

you will read English text in the textbox and receive radio messages in English:

We have placed English PDF-Manuals for most of the MODs into their documentation folders. Please keep the mouse staedy at each MOD and read the QuickInfo. Then rightclick the desired MOD and open the concerning "ReadMe"PDF-File.

I am one of these strange guys using most of the time NYGM 3.3B (been using NYGM since the start) I decided to download your LSH mod to give it a try. After a few patrols I must say it is very impressive work and very immersive. I like the new harbours, the idea of the "Erprobungsstelle" to get used to new subs. I just changed a couple of things to my taste, like greying all the contacts arriving on the map (like to go and have a look by myself).

Only one little problem. I started a career in 1939 at the Erprobungsflotilla in Stralsund. I completed the sinking of the two ships and said hello to the russian fleet on the way. When I was back in harbour, I applied for transfer to 2nd in W'haven according to radio msg recd, and exited the game as said in the manual. On restart, I was still in Stralsund, had an AO square patrol, although I rec'd a msg to move to Rockall banks, which I did _ sinking a small convoy of 4 ships there. Any idea why I did not transfer, or do I have to make 3 patrols in Stralsund before transfering ?

Anyway congratulations to the whole team for a great mod which will stay on my HD.
