Default Zero Gyro Angle Problem

Shipmates-

I've run into a snag with getting a zero gyro. I've been racking my brain trying to come up with a reason. I think all the problems started with adding the 454_EasyAOB_FotRSU + Manual Range and Mast Height mod. I deactivated them and still the same problem.

Here's my step by step:

Determine target speed with stop watch/distance.
Enter speed into TDC.
Determine AoB using Gutted's gyro angle offset chart.
Enter AoB
Set range manually, around 1250 yds.
I Do not use the position keeper!

When I verify my setup on the attack map, my torpedo track runs out ~500 yds. and takes an 80° dogleg toward the target.

I'm wondering if I mucked up my install somehow. The zero gyro method has been my 'bread and butter' tonnage method.

If anyone has some idea, please let me know. I'm getting really frustrated!

Well I figured out where my problem is. The last couple times I have set up a 90° attack, I have used the target lock on the periscope. I completely forgot that the lock function sends the current bearing to the TDC.

Still learning...
