what was the reason Steel Viking delivered a special Zone file with the ship pack ?

and if so, why not using the modded (realistic sinkings) one for it ?

...is it save to use a relaitic sinking zone file with the ship pack ?

This is what I mean with the sinking, This isnt pretty as I was chasing a convoy of 9 merchants with 3 Destroyers when incomes a carrier (I believe to be Ark Royal) with 6 maybe 7 destroyers in tow..... I started the recording abit late as I was being harassed by the destroyers and got a few scrapes for my troubles.

I think so. The Zones.cfg makes changes to the ships by type, or class, not for each individual specific ship. Can someone confirm?

Im feeling greedy, might have to break out WinMerge and have at it with both the BARF and FX zone files.

Heres current list...
if you use v6.7.0 of my UIs mod it already includes the uboat_snorkel mod. Plus you gain MUCH better compatibility with the FX_Update mod. Order should be:

I have also ran the .EXE patcher. I believe it is working correctly (have yellow Map Tools and 'Unknown' contact at bearing 180 on Hydro').

I tested using the 'Fate of U101' mission
a) No Mods - Hydro works pefrectly
b) Just TDW 6.7 - Hydro works perfectly
c) All mods listed - Hydro works perfectly

However, in campaign (multiple tests) I can't hear anything on my Hydro and my operator only occasionally picks contacts up. Have a visual contact @3000 yds, 90 Degrees and nada (at depth obviously).

Othertimes, my operator will report 'No sound contact' if I use 'Follow nearest...' but report correctly if I use 'Report on nearest...'.

Any help gratefully received.

You should use "mod stock file" for all of those.
The others are for when you use the beasts equipment fix.

Don't think you need the Shallow Waters patch as you don't have Shallow Waters installed before it. CTDs on Port approach could be due to OHII - the full version adds a lot of harbour traffic. Try the reduced port ships fix (in the OHII thread I think) or OHII Light (no extra traffic).
